Seeking Refuge, opportunity and a new life immigrants left the old world for the hopes of the New World based on advertisements, posters, flyers and word of mouth rumors and promotion to excape lives they thought were worse. But it was not easy. The new world was not uninhabited, opportunities were limited, it was a struggle, the expected future was not what it was promoted to be.
